mw ON THE MOVE Diageo has appointed Debra Crew as its president for North America following the retirement of Deirdre Mahlan effective July 1 On the global front Diageo named Cristina Diezhandino formerly global category director for Scotch and managing director of the companys luxury brands business as its new CMO replacing Syl Saller who is retiring Treasury Wine Estates has named Stuart Boxer as chief strategy and corporate development officer a newly created role Boxer was formerly CFO and executive general manager of strategy at Australian paint company Dulux Boston Massachusetts based online delivery platform Drizly has appointed Cathy Lewenberg as COO Lewenberg joins from CVS Health where she served as vice president of digital and omnichannel business Additionally Drizly has named Meredith Mahoney as president of Lantern its new cannabis delivery subsidiary Bogle Vineyards has tapped Dan Ewer as executive vice president of sales in charge of the sales teams for the Bogle Phantom and Juggernaut brands Additionally Bogle has promoted Eric Aafedt to vice president of winemaking Stoli Group has tapped Dan Buttling as president and CEO Buttling previously served as global CMO for six months Prior to joining Stoli Group he spent 31 years at Diageo in a variety of marketing sales and general management roles The Wine Group has named retail veteran Cate Hardy as CEO Hardy was formerly CEO of PCC Community Markets since 2015 and prior to that spent nine years with Starbucks Hardys appointment follows the retirement of Brian Vos who had a 20 year tenure with the company Rémy Cointreau CEO Eric Vallat has reshuffled the companys global management team Laurent Venot formerly CEO of Europe Middle East and Africa will now manage all domestic markets worldwide for global travel retail and e commerce Nicolas Beckers CEO of greater China will join the executive committee reporting directly to Venot Ian McLernon CEO of the Americas will also report to Venot The executive committee will be made up of ten members Milwaukee Wisconsin based Press Premium Alcohol Seltzer has named Bruce Jacobson as COO Jacobson joins the company from Constellation Brands where he was most recently chief commercial officer for the beer division and prior to that chief sales officer and senior vice president of sales Tennessees Sugarlands Distilling Co has named Patrick Sullivan as chief sales officer Sullivan previously served as a senior director of business development at Nascar Breakthru Beverage Group has named Melissa Calderwood as executive vice president and CFO she was most recently senior vice president and CFO of five operational businesses at iHeartMedia Breakthru has also promoted Barry Thompson to executive vice president of Breakthru South Carolina Crimson Wine Group has appointed Alexis Walsh as senior vice president of global sales and brand marketing Walsh was previously senior vice president of marketing at Daou Vineyards Winery Hotaling Co has added four new hires to its sales and marketing teams Elizabeth Staino is now director of product development Julie Agrella is now regional chain manager for the West Coast Paige Shelton is now regional sales manager for New York New Jersey and Connecticut and Olya Batsula is now brand development manager for Georgia and South Carolina San Jose California based LibDib has named Rob Foss as vice president of revenue Foss previously served as vice president of digital commerce at Youngs Market Co for 22 years mw Jessica Beebe Debra Crew Dan Ewer Stuart Boxer Cathy Lewenberg SUMMER 2020 MARKETW ATCHMAG COM MARKET WATCH 103
